DAY 1: PAKSE - BOLOVENS - TADLO LODGE
Met and welcome by the Hanoi Voyages Guide upon arrival at the airport. Then transfer by private car to your hotel.
We take the road to the Bolaven plateau (1250m altitude), a major agricultural region of Laos.
The area is primarily devoted to the cultivation of robusta coffee, introduced by the French, but tea, pepper cardamom and rubber plantations also exist in the region.
We discover magnificent waterfalls named Tat Fan and Tat Lo.
Overnight in Tadlo lodge
DAY 2: TADLO LODGE - CHAMPASSAK - VAT PHOU CRUISE - VAT PHOU RUIN
Transfer to the Sinouk Coffee House in central Pakse at 9:30 am. Meet Vat Phou team then we transfer you to a longtail riverboat for your 2.5 hour journey to Champassak. Upon arrival at the Vat Phou boat, we help you to your cabins to unpack then serve lunch on deck.

Start your cruise while enjoying lunch.
- We visit the Vat Phu (“Temple of the Mountain”), a sacred place dating back 1500yrs, and now a UNESCO protected building. Renovations have been undertaken to return it to its former glory.
Back to Vat Phou boat. Then admire the beautiful landscape that will impress everywhere you look. The daily life of Laos people along Mekong river allow your imagination to take over and “see” many different images of Mekong river.
Lunch and diner in the elegant dining room or on the outside deck, a delicious menu prepared with skill and dedication, exquisitely decorated, and served excellently by qualified personnel.

DAY 3: HUEI THAMO - OUM MUONG TEMPLE - KHONG ISLAND
Under the morning sun, surrounded by enchanting and astonishing beauty, your breakfast will be served.
We set sail for the village of Huei Thamo. This is a small village a few minutes walk away from the mysterious hidden forest temple of Oum Muong.
Afterwards we rejoin the boat to continue our cruise southwards.
- Lunch is on the deck, while leisurely sailing closer to the wild paradise of the "4,000 Islands"
Late afternoon we disembark from the boat to walk through Ban Deua Tia, a small Laotian Village where the traditional way of life has not changed in centuries. Our day's cruise finishes at the most northern tip of Don Khong, the largest inhabited island in the river archipelego.
Dinner is served outdoors, or in the indoor dining room.
Tasty traditional laos food, from an excellent menu, cooked to perfection and wonderfully decorated and served by qualified personnel.

DAY 4: DON KHONE - PHA PHENG WATERFALL - PAKSE
Under the morning sun, surrounded by enchanting and astonishing beauty, your breakfast will be served.
The Vat Phou boat cruises the Mekong to the small village of Ban Veuthong, where you board a small boat to meander among the 4,000 Islands to Khone Island. You will visit the old French railway and walk across the bridge that links Khone and Det Islands.
We continue on the boat back to the mainland for lunch at a local restaurant in a small fishing village, Xieng Di, on the banks of the Mekong.
We drive to Pakse, detouring along the way to stop at the village of Ban Sapaie, an area well known for its weavings of cotton and silk, and other textile productions.

DAY 5: PAKSE - DEPARTURE
Free time until transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
